Getting Started

Quick answers

Questions parents ask before using Zuko.

These answers explain how Zuko differs from ordinary messaging, scheduling, and recordkeeping tools.

Using Zuko

Is Zuko a replacement for texting?

Zuko is intended to replace unstructured co-parenting communication where accountability matters. It keeps conversations, requests, schedules, documents, and records organized in one workspace.

Can both parents use the same case workspace?

Yes. Zuko is designed around shared workspaces, parent connections, child profiles, and controlled access.

What if the other parent does not join?

A parent can still use Zuko to organize their own records and documentation. Shared workflows become more powerful when both parents participate.

Records and accountability

Can messages be deleted?

Zuko is designed around record preservation and accountable communication. Message deletion does not work like ordinary casual chat.

Can I link documents to records?

Yes. Documents can be linked to relevant records such as requests, expenses, parenting time activity, accountability items, and other supporting contexts.

Can Zuko help with review-ready records?

Zuko is built around structured history, timestamps, reports, and export-ready records. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Access, plans, and reliability

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan includes essential structured communication and schedule visibility. Standard expands requests, expense workflows, parenting time records, documents, child profiles, and AI-assisted messaging. Premium adds accountability, supporting evidence, reports, and exports.

Does Zuko work offline?

Previously synchronized information can be available for review offline. Actions that submit, change, or generate information require an internet connection.

Can subscription access change automatically?

Yes. Feature access is server-driven, so the app can update available features when a subscription or entitlement changes.

How do I report or block a message?

Open the message in Zuko to use the available reporting or blocking controls. Blocking stops direct messaging; use emergency services if there is immediate danger.

How do I close my account?

You can request account closure from the app. Zuko shows the confirmation steps and any applicable cancellation window before the request is final.
