Account Deletion

How account deletion works in Zuko.

You can request account closure from the Zuko app. Your request starts a 10-day cancellation window; during that period, you can sign in and cancel it. Certain shared records may remain where necessary to preserve workspace integrity, authorized participant access, security, or platform operations.

Deletion process

Closure happens in stages.

Request account closure

Start the process from Profile settings in the Zuko app. The request immediately limits normal account access.

10-day cancellation window

Your account remains pending for the 10-day cancellation window. You may sign in during this period to cancel the request.

Closure execution

After the window ends, closure is permanent. Access is revoked and eligible personal profile and authentication information is deleted or anonymized where possible.

Shared records

Some information may remain inside shared workspaces.

Because Zuko operates using collaborative workspaces between authorized participants, deleting all information may affect records relied upon by others.

Messages inside shared workspaces Shared requests and decisions Parenting time records Shared expenses Documents connected to shared records Audit history required for security

Why information may remain

Record preservation is sometimes necessary.

Certain information may remain where reasonably necessary to preserve record integrity, maintain shared workspaces, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain security, or support backup and recovery processes.

Account closure starts inside the app.
